Attention Adult Family Homeowners: Sponsor Your Employees for Training


The Long-Term Care Foundation of Washington State (LTCFWA) is offering a program that allows eligible Adult Family Homes (AFHs) to sponsor their employees for a scholarship offered by the Long-Term Care Foundation to cover the cost of training. This program can help your staff acquire valuable skills and knowledge to better serve your residents. While coving the cost of training.


Here's what you need to know:


Eligibility:

  • Current Medicaid Resident: Your AFH must have at least one resident currently receiving Medicaid benefits.
  • Employee Work Hours: The employee you wish to sponsor must have worked at your AFH for at least 40 hours before the application submission.
  • AFH Owner Orientation: You, as the AFH owner, must attend a one-time mandatory orientation webinar hosted on the GoToWebinar platform.
